Page Range: 49 – 60
This paper explores the process of integrating a prenatal Hatha-Yoga program with an existing system of prenatal education classes. The focus site, BryanLGH Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska, serves as both a specific example and a jumping-off point to begin to define more general guidelines for the creation of integrative Hatha-Yoga prenatal education models. Methodologies for program integration as well as class content selection and the issues surrounding class development are addressed.
